We are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team! You will be responsible for providing high quality care to assigned patients in various retirement facilities. Responsibilities: - Provide basic nursing care and treatment services to residents - Provide ongoing assessments of resident health status in accordance with defined policy and procedures - Care for ill, injured or convalescing patients - Perform nursing interventions such as taking blood pressure, temperature, vital signs, skin treatment and wound care. - Monitor patients’ progress, and evaluate effectiveness of nursing intervention - Administer medications Availability: - We are looking for flexible employees who are available to work any shifts day/evening/night, during the week or on the weekend. Staff must be available to work casual or on- call. Expectations: - We are looking for someone with a positive attitude towards patients, someone who is caring, compassionate and shows initiative.
